Jennifer R. Golden
Bio
Currently residing in the Mount Pleasant District of
Washington, D.C., Jennifer Golden originally hails from
Memphis, TN where she studied at Memphis College of Art
and The University of Memphis. To seize the opportunity to
move to the Nation’s Capital, she cut her education short
and has never looked back.

Heavily involved in local artist grass-roots groups Jennifer
gains real-life experience by drawing from group critiques
and projects with other local artists.  Her art has been used
as the official 2006 Adams Morgan Day Festival T-shirt.  She
has been involved with projects such
as membership-
arranged and managed group show titled “Art in Transition”
located in found-space in Silver Spring, MD. She was also
 
involved in D.C.’s Artomatic
; as well as participated in an
area-artists group project to refurbish a local inner-city
community center by adorning it with mosaic tile art.
Jennifer has also shown in other venues in Los Angeles, CA
and New York, NY.

Jennifer describes herself as an eternally emerging artist, as
she is constantly experimenting, learning and never settling.
Her works promise to constantly produce something new.
